some new photos

One of my infamous self-portraits, couple-style, and some cute ones of the Dyl-dawg. He spit his sookie out and it flipped right onto his eye, he didn't mind. When it fell off he taught himself that, in spite of his best efforts, this particular Eeyore is inedible. Not a lot of photogging since these were taken - it's been a real flu-house here, lots of fever but thankfully no swine. We went to the doctor since his fever was over 38, but he's okay, and we learned that he's almost 20 pounds already! Now spring has finally sprung here and hopefully we'll get some shots of him loving backyard life soon.
Hugs y'all,
-CB

Toronto Pictures (Lots)

It's been a whirlwind trip to Ontario with lots of friends and family. I realize as I upload these pics how many people I failed to "capture" (i.e. steal their souls with the camera), incl. the Smiths, the Monteros, the Cribbs, the Haapalehtos, Pamela, Aimee, Crystal and the whole Finnish mafia. Plus probably many more... If Chris were here, I'm sure he'd be much better.
It's fun looking at all of these together and seeing the magnitude of people who are happy to be meeting Dyldawg for the first time. It's neat to have such a broad and big community.
OK, off to more of the same! M

Recession be Damned

Some random recent images here, including, among other things: Luke Doucet, who we saw live at the new concert venue/pub near our house (called Company House). Luke rocked amazing - what a fantastic Winnipeg guitar man, you really gotta check him out. Other recent funtimes included a trip to Grandma/Great-Grandma's house; Dylan and his friend Amelia's first experiences at the outdoor playground near our place; another bath; a sleepover at our house for a few good friends, during which we played truth or dare and Miia went minstrelling with a lampshade on her head; visits from my cousin and her 9-month-old and my other cousin and his pregnant girlfriend; Dylan has learned to stick out his tongue and does it every chance he gets. On a side-note, Bosh loves sleeping on Dylan's change table. He's even willing to share it sometimes while we change Dyl.
