When we were in Texas we saw a place like this. It was sad to see these lovely wild animals behind wire. but many of them had in fact been rescue animals and probably wouldn't have lived otherwise. It's, as you say, sadness and beauty.
Yeah, same situation here. Some of them seem content but for the pacers and twitchers I can't help but wonder if they'd be better off dead.
Were these at Shubie? I have lots of photos from there, but do feel sad for the animals.EB
