Liking Biking in a Faux Democracy with Fewer Schools

I liked both pieces. The biking one was quite upbeat. The other was more depressing. But true. What happened to politicians policing themselves? Of course the citizens should be involved but the politicos have to take some damn responsibility.
Thanks Charles. I guess public consultation is supposed to be a means of getting people more actively involved in democracy than just voting. But, I don't think it's working because most of the time it's not genuine.
